Our birds of prey programs include owls, hawks, falcons, vultures and more. The birds are by far our most popular and requested interaction. All of our free-flighted birds fly with no strings attached, and they will often swoop down low over the audience and fly amongst the crowd.
The birds seen in our shows and interactions are working birds that are not only beautiful and entertaining, but educational. The same birds seen at a public or private event may also be trained in bird abatement, or be part of a conservation program geared toward helping these birds thrive in the wild.
Roughly 20% of our education birds were rescued or rehabilitated and may have impairments that prevent free flight. These birds are presented on a glove or perch, close enough for an audience to see details they would never catch in the wild.
